Subform control

C

Carla

I am trying to create a subform within a form that will
show only the information from a table that is specific
to the form (from the primary key field). By using the
Help feature, I fould that I should type the linking
fields or control in the LinkChildFields and
LinkMasterFields under the Properties of the Subform.
However, when I choose Properties for the subform, the
link fields are not listed. What am I doing wrong?

The easiest way to see the LinkChildFields/Link Master Fields is to first
open the Form properties of the Main form while in design view, then
(leaving the properties window open) click on the black square that is at
the upper left part of the subform. This will change the Properties window
to reflect the subform properties and should show you the Child/Master
Linking fields.
