Subform entry disappears in Form View when going to the next recor

I had posted this question in the general questions area and have received no
clear solution to this problem.
I created a form with 2 subforms embeded within a tab control. The Order No.
is the only constant data that is present in all 3 forms. The
Relationships area show that the Order No. is connected between the main form
(Quote Tracker) and the 2 subforms (Design Quote and Construction Quote),
although the 2 subforms have a unique ID no. as its primary key. The Order
No. is also automatically filled in within the 2 subforms. However, in the
Form View, when I enter the data into the subforms, the data disappear when
I go
to the next record. When I view the Design and Construction tables, the data
are there. The subforms are set in continuous form.
I have read some questions posted and some answers have mentioned about
master and child relationships. How do you go about establishing that
relationship? I wonder if I have established that alaready conidering that in
the Relationships area the 3 forms appear to be connected to each other.
I am new to Access 2003 and this is my first time in creating
forms/subforms. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help...

I might be misunderstanding you, but from your post it sounds like your form
is doing what it is supposed to. When you navigate to another record on the
main form, the information in the subforms SHOULD change. If the record you
are navigating to happens to be a new record, or an incomplete one where the
subform info hasn't been filled in yet, then it would be normal for the
subforms to show no data.

Thanks for replying Beetle. Yes it's supposed to change when you go to the
next record. But in my case, when I go back or navigate through the records
that I had entered there are no entries in the subform except for the Order
nos. Let's say I have typed in 2 entries per subform per record, when I go
back these entries are gone, like the data were never saved at all.
Anyway, I have solved the problem, I saw an entry by Loni - RWT and tried
her solution. The culprit was the data entry property which should be set to
"No". Thanks again for replying.
