subform linking problem

Margaret Bartley

When i click on the elipsis button, to the right of the the Link Child
Fields in the Data Properties box for my subform, i get an error message
from Subform Field Linker that says "The expression you entered refers to an
object that is closed or doesn't exist."

This happens whether I am trying to select the Child Field or the Master
Field.

It would appear that something is corrupted in my db, but I"m trying to
figure out the best way to fix it.

Any suggestions?

Odd. What do you get if you simply type in the name of the child
table's linking field?

They were both bound forms.

I just deleted the subform control, and rebuilt it, and it works OK.
I had imported the form - it was probably a little bug they didn't think was
worth fixing.

Thanks, anyway.
