Subform not recognized in code

I have a function in a subform module that I'm trying to run from the main
form. It's been working with this syntax but when I added a field to the
underlying table and then to the subform, I get the error message shown
below. Can anyone help?

Code that runs the function:
Me.sbfWOV001.Form.CheckForMaintReq

Error message:
Method 'Form' of object '_Subform' failed.
