hi all,
am perplexed at what I think is a simple task.....
Access2003 Form1 is bound to Table1 and has a combobox in header that
selects record and Form1 shows the data of that record
SubFormA is bound to TableA - was inserted into Form1 using the subform
wizard - there is a cross referencing field - and so it goes to records
corresponding to value selected in the Form1 combobox....
and this works fine...
but I want SubFormA to go to a new (blank) record....I have SubFormA's
property Date Entry set to 'yes' ....SubFormA opens to a new record if opened
as a stand alone form....but when I select the value from Combobox in Form1
the SubFormA is going to an existing record...
have played around in attempting to force it to new record in the Combobox
Update event but to no success....
am kind of feeling particularly blank on this one and would welcome
advice.....
