Subforms - Applications

Hi
I have several sub-forms within my main form, one of them
I use to open a Graphics Software application to read
data from one of the fields in the same form, using a
Command Button.
This works fine, however whilst this third party Graphics
application is open I cannot go to, or select anything
else within Access, this includes forms and subforms.
I have been advised, this could be to do with "Focus" or
I need to Open the Graphics Package "Globally"!
Could anyone advise me on this, I am only a novice when
it comes to Programming.

Open the problematic Form in "Design View.
Display the properties of the Form (right-click on the
form at the very top and select properties).
Click on the Tab "Other"
Displayed here are a number of properties, if the "Pop Up"
and/or "Modal" properties are set to "Yes", then set these
to "No".
Save and close the Form then try running it as normal.

Thank you for the reply.

I took your advise and looked through all the subforms +
Main form and found the "POP-up" and "Modal" are Off in
all instances.

I have tried other settings within the Sub-form but with
little success, so I am still looking for a possible
answer to my problem
Any help in the problem I would be grateful for.
