I have a problem that I can't seem to find a solution
to . . .I have a form that contains some general employee
info and a tab control in which there are ten tabs
containing subforms. The subforms contain more specific
information about the employee.
Until very recently, we were able to start a new record,
enter the general info, then select the tabs (in any
order) and add in the other, more specific information.
Now, for some unknown reason, when we start a new record
we can enter the general info, then the info on one tab,
but when we click on another tab we get an error that
indicates that the primary key field cannot be Null and it
won't let us go any further no matter what we do. And
there *is* an entry in the primary key field!
I've been beating my head against the wall on this. The
fields are all bound correctly. And this form worked fine
until the IT department upgraded everyone's image to the
latest Win2K service pack release and security patches.
Does anyone have a clue to how I can fix this problem?
I'm willing to bet it's something simple, but for some
reason it's eluding me. I'd appreciate any help I can get!
