subforms within subforms

I've got a form1 that has a subform1 and that subform1 has
a subform2 linked to it. Both relationships are one-to-
many. These forms and subforms are working fine. My
problem is that I want a subform3 linked to the subform2
and I've tried it but everytime I try to enter data into
the subform3 and close the subform3 it tells me that "I
cannot add or change a record because a related record is
required in the subform2".

I don't understand why because I've got a record in
subform2. That's where I would double click the subform2
record to enter notes in the subform3 (This is only a
notes table for each specific record in subform2). The
only difference between the forms that are working from my
description in the beginning is that the subform2 is in
datasheet view. I tried it in form view as well and it
didn't work. Is the problem the linked fields or what?

Any suggestions?
