I have a very strange problem, and was wondering if anyone has
ever heard of it or knows a solution.
I created a form based on a table with about five fields in it. I
then have two subforms (let's call them sub-A & sub-B) within the main
form. For about a week the main form only had sub-A. I just added
sub-B. Once I create the sub-B subform and save it once go back into
it, it is fine, the records change according to which record I select
and all relations are sound. As soon as I exit out and go back into the
form sub-B is an exact replica of sub-A, except for its size. It has
the same sourceobject, but Sub-B is showing all records in the table
for sub-A, not just the ones related to the record from the main form.
So to sum it up as soon as I go in a second time, sub-A is fine but
sub-B takes on sub-A's sourceobject.
Does anyone know why the sourceobject value of sub-B is changing
automatically?
I've tried this about 10-15 times already to no avail. I even went as
far as just creating a child unbound subform and setting the
sourceobject, link child fields, & link master fields to their right
values in the open form event of the main form, but that does not work.
Have anybody ever seen this happen?
Thank you in advance,
Dan
