Ever since I upgraded my OS to Leopard, I have been having a problem with the look of the font used in the SUBJECT field of Entourage.
I can only describe it as looking ODD. For example, the lower case "g" is cut off in the field as well as other issues such as odd kerning between characters.
I have tried everything I can think of to fix the problem. I cleaned all the font caches on the machine (PowerBook G4), I deleted the font cache in the user/library/preferences/microsoft/ folder and yet the subject line font remains messed up.
Prior to doing all of the above, the calendar items (events listed in calendar) looked this same way, but after doing all the cache clearing etc. that display returned to normal.
All other fonts in the application look fine. The only display problem is the SUBJECT LINE. I am trying to live with it, but it is difficult because the subject line is so hard to read, so the chances of a typo are great simple because many of the characters display so badly.
Is there any way to access the font used for the Subject field? What font is it and where is it accessed from?
The font settings in PREFERENCES have no effect on this field.
Thanks in advance!
