Subject: Reappearing/multiplying personal folders

Q

Why does my outlook personal folders create new Personal folders every time I
plug in remotely? When I take my laptop home from the office and open outlook
a new personal folder appears. Then when I take it to the office another one
appears. This just keeps happening every time I go back and forth. I know I
can delete them but why is it happing in the first place? I’m using outlook
2003.
Will some one help me I can not find an answer anywhere.

how are you connecting remotely and where are the new personal files stored?
did you have an one personal folders file that is on a network drive?

I am connecting at home with a high speed DSL line. My personal folders are
listed as one on the network at work and the other locally on the hard drive.
The one listed as being on the network is not used for anything but it is
placed there by a script pushed out by the admin.
