Subject: Sub/Superscripting should work in Excel Legends/Axis Labe

Well I totally agree with miwilla. Furthermore I would like to add that
obviously this problem hasn't even been solved in Excel 2007. I tried the
beta 2 online and the same problem persists. If there is a workaround I would
kindly like to ask you for an explanation. On the other hand I strongly
recommend that the developers take care of that problem, since it affects
many of us dedicated Excel users.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers

Dear Jon,
I am sorry for not having explained myself precisely enough. What I meant
wasn't the datalabels it is the actual chart legend which I would like to
format or rather more to keep the format of the selected content chosen as
series name.
Maybe you have a workaround for that too.
And would it be possible to take care of these little but important things
in Excel 2007?

You explained yourself clearly enough, but you did not read my explanation
carefully enough. My example shows how to use data labels to achieve the
formatting desired in axis tick labels.

Don't hold your breath waiting for an Excel 2007 fix.
