Strangely on Project Web Access site in out of the box MyTasks web part we
have following two issues.

1. We are not getting time phased view cell editable, what settings should
be in place to make do the tiem sheet entry from my tasks web part ?

2. Submit All and Submit Selected button are not submiting any updates to
the proejct manger , on click of these button simply the page gets refreshed
and that is it. It does not save or submit any task details, Any idea ?

Thank you.

Hi Nikhil,

1. To get timephased entry, you will need 2 things:

a. Server Settings – Task Settings and Display
“Hours of work done per period†has to be allowed.
If you want project managers to choose their tracking method, make sure
that “Force project managers to use the progress reporting method
specified above for all projects.†is disabled. In that case PMs need to
select their tracking method in ProjProf – Options on the Collaboration tab.
To make sure that all projects are tracked in hours per day, select
“Hours of work done per period†and checkmark the force option.
Note: Projects need to be published afterwards to get that done.

b: Change “My Tasksâ€.
Click on “View Options†on this page and activate “Timephased Viewâ€.
As an administrator you can also prepare that view by Site Actions –
Edit Page – Edit (Webpart) – Modify Shared Web Part. Expand "Project Web
Accessâ€, select “Timephased Viewâ€. Scroll down and make sure that work
format fits to your requirements. Click OK and "Exit Edit Mode".

2. When you write that submit is not working, it is that project manager
does not see any updates on approval page? Open your plan in ProjProf
and insert column "Status Manager". Updates are submitted to that user.
Is his or hers approval page also empty?

Barbara
