Submit form as an e-mail attachment with a button

Hello,
I have created a form which i want to send to certain indivuals when the
button is clicked. I have Cc'd me in the rule design. When I click on the
button everything appears to have worked, the problem is the recipients
cannot open the attached form, but I can??

Am I missing something?

Hi,

If recipents want open the form they must need to publish the template to
the local drive or sharepoint in their side to open the attachment send in
mail.

When setting up the submit options, click the radio button to "Send
form data as attachment" and look for a checkbox that says "Attach
form template to ensure that users can open this form" (I have
Infopath 2007).

The problem is that you have the template on your machine, and they
don't, so you can open it and edit, but their machine doesn't know how
to handle it.
So, if you can't attach the form template, then you'll have to find
some way to install that template onto their machine.
