The _private folder is managed / created by the FP SE
- you can't create a valid one (w/ correct permissions) using the host control panel
Your FP SE are corrupted by doing so
- contact your host hand have them run a reinstall repair on the FP SE and check the site permissions

| Stefan,
| Now maybe we're getting somewhere slowly...
| This is the report I got:
| A FrontPage Save Results component tried to write to
| "_private/formrslt.txt", but access to this file or URL is disallowed
| because it is located in an invalid subfolder, is not part of the web, or
| was disallowed by an administrator.
|
| There wasn't a _private folder so I created one while the hosts file manager
| and created an empty txt file with the name above and (sorry) FTPed it to
| the folder.
| (This is the first time I've tried to use the Publish command and it's slow
| going for me.)
| Still get the same error though.
| Or is it something to do with permissions writing to the file maybe?
| Ewan
