Submit rule in InfoPath sections keep changing.

I have created one InfoPath form with a dropdown menu and many sections. Each
section has a submit button with an email data connection. When I choose one
of the sections from the dropdown it sends it with the right connection.
However, the next time I choose a different section from the menu, the email
data connection has changed to the one used from the last section. Why is
this happening or how can I keep each section connected to the correct data
connection? This form is going to be used by many users if I can get it
working. Thanks.

Hi Mary,

Did you add a rule in each Submit button to use its own Data Connection
(with a 1 to 1 ratio?) or do you do this by code?

Hi Mary,

Same thing. You could have done it the other way around: create all your
data connection first, then create your buttons (linking 1 button with 1
connection).
Then, it should work.

I think I figured it out. I changed direction and am using Rules and Custom
code instead. I set a rule here for the data connection along with other
rules for opening a new form and closing the old one after submitting, and
that seems to be working.
