I went to submit an Access2007 .accdt template file to Microsoft's site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/CT101172481033.aspx
and got this message:
Your template cannot be submitted, because of one of the following
problems: - The template either contains non-Access active content, such as
macros, embedded objects, linked images, or ActiveX controls. - The template
has a bad title, display name, category, or description. - The template is
missing an Access preview image (JPG, GIF, PNG, or BMP). - The template is
not for one of the following 2007 Microsoft Office system programs: Access
2007, Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Publisher 2007, or Word 2007. Check the
template you want to submit, and then submit it again.
Does anyone know the restrictions for posting templates?
For example this simple template has:
- a small amount of code
- one regular macro
- some embedded macros
- some embedded pictures
- has a preview image
- hopefully has valid title, display name, category and description?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Mark
