Submitting time but PM's not being notified

I go into the task, update it, recalculate and save then import into my
timesheet (I had duplicates of that also so I deleted one). The hours were
updated on the timesheet but my project managers didn’t receive my time –
they haven’t received any time from me as of yet even though I’ve been
submitting it for two months this way. Any ideas? ïŒ

MK:

You need to submit the time from the My Tasks Page after you export the time
to the timesheet. Submitting the timesheet does not update the project, it
only updates the time records, which are completely separate from the
projects.

You are definitely NOT using Project Server 2007 correctly. On the My Tasks
page, you need to click either the Submit Selected or Submit All button to
submit the task update to your project manager. Information submitted from
the My Timesheet page goes to your resource manager (functional manager), if
designated in the system, or it is simply auto-approved. But information
from the My Timesheet page NEVER goes to the project manager for approval
into the Microsoft Project plan.

Given your slew of basic questions this week and last week, I would strongly
suggest that you purchase one or more of our company's books on Project
Server 2007, available for purchase at:

http://projectserverbooks.com/books/project2007books.aspx

Purchasing these books will save you time, money, and frustration with
mastering Project Server 2007. And if your company can "spring" for some
formal training, we have courses for both project managers and Project
Server administrators coming up next month. Refer to the following URLs for
training information:

http://projectservertraining.com/learning/hybrid2k7.aspx

http://projectservertraining.com/learning/administering2k7.aspx

Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale. The questions I am posting are basic and coming in fast and
furious from our professional services groupas we just implemented this tool.
Thanks for your speedy support and along the way, I am reading the book and
also other online sources of info to get more informed.

Thanks again.
