submitting to sharepoint - requires contribute permissions??!

Hi All,

I have an Infopath form which users open and submit to sharepoint.
Annoyingly it won't submit to sharepoint without the users having
"Contribute" permissions to the form library. However this allows the users
to see all the submitted forms - a big no no, is there a way around this? I
have tried all the different permissions to no avail and its getting urgent
now.

Surely there must be a way around this?

I am using infopath2003 and sharepoint 2007. The form is a basic form which
dosent read anything from the form library and submits using a dataconnection
from a button with rules.

Thanks All

Thanks

Not sure if this will help, but i had a similar situation with a library
with a small number of contributors. i ended up creating folders for each
user. the permissions on the folders were set such that only the named user
could contribute and their manager could read.
