So I have a subreport I'm trying to do something tricky with, and can
find nothing similar in the group nor in Help.
What it is, is a report of freezers with a subreport containing contact
information for up to four employees associated with a particular
freezer. I have nine fields I need to include in the subreport: rank,
fname, lname, office phone, lab phone, home phone, mobile, pager and
email - all of which is too wide to fit on a standard 8-1/2x11 page in
portrait orientation. It has to be in portrait orientation - long
explanation, no way around this particular criterion. So my thought was
to have the contact information print vertically for each contact, like
so:
rank rank rank rank
fname fname fname fname
lname lname lname lname
office phone office phone office phone office phone
lab phone lab phone lab phone lab phone
etc....
I thought I could change the original subreport I created to datasheet
view, but that's not possible...is it?
I tried creating a cross-tab query, but that's not the solution.
I tried putting a subform (instead of a subreport) into the report but
that also won't display the way I need it to.
I'm woozy, tired and sluggish this week (must be coming down with
something that hasn't hit hard yet), so I'm obviously missing something
here. Is there a solution?
