subreport no value error

To All;

I have a report that gives an invoice total. I also have a subreport for
misc items. Each invoice may or may not have misc items. In the report
footer I have a sum function for all item and misc table, if there are no
items in the table I receive an error for total. Ay help is much appreciated.
