subreport

Novice user question:
I have a subreport based on a query that works fine if you view it directly.
But when I put it into the main report, it is totally blank. When I try to
define parent and child fields, I click on the ... and get the error: "The
expression you entered refers to an object that is closed or doesn't exist."
The main report is also based on a query. (Access2000 on WindowsXP)

Make sure your subreport query includes the primary key from the main
report's query to ensure that the parent/child relationship can be set
correctly. Make sure all queries include their own primary key in the query.
