I am using Access 2007. I need a report made up of other reports, each based
on different queries. As far as I've known with Access, the answer there is
subreports. However, in this case I need my subreports to display data in
columns and print them down the page, not across.
I'm aware of the problem Access has with printing down then across on a
subreport: mainly that if CanGrow is set to true, it doesn't know when to end
a column becuase it doesn't know when the master runs out of page; if CanGrow
is set to false, I only get data for the first page.
So I've got this shiny new version of Access. Has MS added anything that
would provide a different kind of solution to this problem? Basically, I want
a super-report, rather than a subreport. A super-report would string together
a series of reports, one after the other, each formatted unto itself.
Any such thing, or any other ideas?
Thanks much,
Ray
