Is there a way to verify that the install of Office XP
Professional on my system is a full unlimited use or a
time limited subscrition?

Thank you.

Yes, open any program and if you do not get the prompt to register, it is
unlimited. Unless you purchased a subscription model in which case you can
contact Microsoft for a key to turn it into a fully functional, non time
limited version.

Thank you for your reply. I do not get a prompt to
register. Does your second sentence imply that it might
still be limited. Again, thank you.

What country did you purchase Office XP in? Microsoft trialed the
subscription model in a few countries - if you purchased this in the US or
Canada, you do not have a time limited version, unless you got one of the 30
or 45 day trial versions, which would give you the countdown as you use the
programs. 44 days left, 43 days left, etc.
