Subscriptions still moving after rule deleted

I set up an email account, subscriptions@..., for newsletters and things
like that. It got over run with junk so I changed them another address. All
the junk still comes in so I created a rule to move it to the deleted
folder. However they still go to the subscriptions folder.
The new rule has been moved to the top of the list and the old rule has been
deleted. I have quite the app several times. Nothing changes it. It just
keeps acting as though I've made no changes.
Any ideas anyone?

If you are no longer using that address, I would delete it from Accounts.
All you are going to get is spam.

As far as your rule goes, the mail is probably being moved by a Mailing List
Manager rule. They run BEFORE Rules.

I would delete it but provider is now forwarding all the mail for that
account to my main one so I get it anyway.
I looked in the Mailing List Manager and there is no rule pertaining to that
account.
In the mean time I'll try and make one for it but any other ideas?

Delete it with your provider. Trying to deal with an account that you don't
want shouldn't be a function of Entourage. Deal with it at the source.
