Dear Sirs,
I suggest to make Frontpage able opening subsites in a structure not only
from FOLDER LIST tab, but from NAVIGATION tab also. It is only a different
view of a structure, so it should work in a same way.
A subsite is mostly need to create different Theme for a part of the homepage.
Its default style is used on newly created documents.
It would be also nice, if a NAVIGATION VIEW could show a full structure of
SITES & SUBSITES in a readonly way. I mean that only the currently open
website could be edited, but all the other linked sites up & down could be
shown just for info.
The other reason of having subsites is a need for a multilanguaged website.
I recommend to create a possibility in General templates for a
multilanguaged website use. Besides it would be useful to have the templates
available in FRAMED templates also in SHARED BORDERS templates in an empty
webpage shape.
Best regards,
Peter
PS:
Anyhow, a skilled user can solve these needs, but it would be easier for new
users. Besides I would have put SHARED BORDERS item into the original menu
structure under format menu.
