When I indent a subtask the text in the "task Name" in no longer visible.

I can see all the other details of the sub task but not the Task Name.

Have repaired/reinstalled etc.... still no luck

snozwangle,
I remember this same type of question being asked within the last year
in this newsgroup but I don't remember the response. You might want to
do a search. However, there are some things to check. First, is the
column width for the Name field wide enough to pick up the indented
text? Second, do you have a bunch of leading spaces before the task
name? Third, what version of Project are you using? Fourth, is this a
single file or a master with inserted subprojects?

Hi snozwangle,

I think this was an issue cured by a Service Release. Check Help/About and
look for SR after the version number.
What version of project are you using?

I think I have seen this in the original MS Project 2003 version before any
patches are applied. I know that the 60 day trial version also restricts you
from indenting and outdenting which you also might have run into.

Apply SP2 and see if you still have the problem. You have nothing to lose
and it might help in other areas as well.

i'm running 2003 with SP 2. It has been installed from a multi-seat
installation disk... Could this have something to do with it?

RedSPY,
An installation disk for volume installations is not the cause of this
issue. That would only affect the ability to install Project itself and
you apparently were able to install it.

Check out the answers to an identical post in this newsgroup yesterday.
Look for the post by "snozwangel", subject: "subtask task name not
visible".

If you are that same poster, please don't duplicate your posts. We saw
it the first time. Multiple posts will NOT get a quicker answer.
