subweb access

I

Igor

I use FP 2002 to author my site against the webserver,
primarily using the discussion form component to post
daily updates to a members only directory. Access to the
members-only directory is conrolled by a CGI. It is also a
FP subweb.

Recently, I am experiencing the problem of accessing this
subweb via FP - my username and password are rejected.

Also, I can't load the post page in a browser

I have no problem accessing these files in FP and web
browser through the root web, however.

The problem is solved by FTP-ing a backup to
my /public_html/ directory. But soon I am back in the same
situation again.

I would like to know what FP-specific files are
responsible for conrolling a subweb's behavior, as far as
access is concerned, and what can be done to make it more
stable.

UNIX server with FP extensions.

Thanks,

Igor

FTP breaks the FP SE (and your DW)
Have to host run a repair / reinstall of the FP SE
