Hello,
I have a problem concerning the creation of subwebs using
Project Server 2002 and Sharepoint Team Services. The
option "automatically create subweb" is checked ON, but
when creating and publishing a new project on the server
using Project Professional, no subweb is created!! I don't
get an error that the subweb could not be created, but
when trying to upload documents, the message that there
may not be a subweb created appears. Manually creating a
subweb is no problem.
After initial installation of the Project Server and
Sharepoint Team Services the automatic creation of subwebs
worked ok, but after unchecking the option "automatically
create subweb" and later checking it again it suddenly
stopped working. Also both options concerning "Grant user
access to the project subwebs" are checked.
I then tried the following:
- I ran pscomplus.exe again making sure the right users
and passwords for Sharepoint Team Services were used.
- I ran proxycfg.exe again making sure these settings
were OK.
- I checked if the Sharepoint Administrator account was a
member of the local Administraters group and it was.
I'm out of options! Is this a bug or am I missing
something here???!!!!
Any help is greatly appreciated
