Subweb search form

Hi, I can't get the FP search component to work on subwebs. They work on my local version (after recalculating hyperlinks on subweb) but not when published to my ISP. I've tried recalcuating hyperlinks on the ISP published root site and recalculating hyperlinks on the ISP published subweb as well. I've tried creating the search component on the ISP published subweb and then recalcuating hyperlinks. Nothing seems to work.

I've seen the postings in this forum "Search Component" 1/27/2004 (anna h.) and subsequent replies about this problem but this does not resolve for me. Any suggestions.

Thanks
Todd

if you could describe how it doesn't work, like if there's an error or what
the symptom is it would help.
you may want to send an email to your host to turn on the feature/
extensions.

FP search will only work in the web it resides in. If you create a search in the root web, it will only search the root web.
Subwebs are really completely seperate webs under a common "root".
