I am running Frontpage 2000, web server NT 4.0, MMC 4.0. I created a subweb
yesterday from a client PC, and published it to the web server. Even though I
checked "include sub web" when publishing, it still didn't publish. I had to
create a subweb directly on the webserver, which caused server extension 2002
crashed. All the forms created by FP stopped working. I had to reinstall
server extension, recalculated the web... it was a chaos.
Is there a better way to create a password-protected page?
The instruction I followed was:
How to apply password protection to part of a FrontPage Web in FrontPage 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301554
I also tried to create an ASP logon page, but the script from Microsoft had
some errors, and I really had a hard time trouble shooting it.
Any advice?
Thanks.
