Successor Does not move when I move the predecessor

Hi

My file was working fine until I moved some tasks around. To move the tasks
I clicked on the task number and dragged and dropped the task them to another
location higher up the task list.

Now when I change the end date of a task the successor does not move.

I followed the suggestions from the online help for "I linked my tasks, but
now the successor task doesn't move" with no results.

Any ideas what is going on?

Did I not properly move the tasks when I clicked and dragged? Was I
suppossed to cut and paste? I opend a new file and created a few tasks and
tried to cut and paste and still the same problem.

Help

Thanks

Are the links Finish-Start?

Do you have automatic calculation on? (Tools, Options, Calculation tab)

Yes, click and drag is the preferred way as that preserves the original
Unique ID
