Grey
MS Word, part of Office 2000 on XP Pro SP1.
Been using this for a while and have suddenly developed an annoying glitch.
If I open a file and have the View set to Print Layout (I sometimes prefer
to work like this), I have a page of grey horizontal lines across it on the
printable area of the page (this is on the screen). Sometimes, I get a grid
pattern, usually horiz lines and some files open as usual.
I am assuming something has been tweaked inadvertently somewhere and I would
like to remove it. These lines do not appear in Normal view nor in Print
Preview bit. I have not actually printed them to see if they come through,
but it is annoying on screen.
I can't see anything obvious in the settings, Table>Show Gridlines is off.
There is no shading patterns in Format>Borders and Shading, no funny themes
active.
Any ideas?
