The suppliers of your computer may not be aware of
conflicts with certain features of video cards. Though you
may want to take the easiest course, the path often leads
you back to one of exchange. My suggestion again, is to
change your current video card with a known good one, and
running Word. If Word is locking due to a hardware
conflict, then your best recourse is to exchange the
hardware for a compatible piece. I am quite sure that you
will find your way to this as a resolution, regardless the
