One of our people had a new document open in Word and while she was attending
to something else, suddenly the text on her document suddenly "changed" to a
page full of un-readable "boxes", or at least, un-displayable characters that
appear like "boxes" on her screen. Now, apparently, she cannot retrieve the
work that she had accomplished to that point. A virus scan shows no
"affectation" (AV signatures updated yesterday and no apparent updates
today).. spyware checking shows no suspect "critters"... but seemingly, even
the data in the "auto-save" of the document is corrupt, also. ????? Anyone
have a clue?
