(suddenly)Cannot open saved Word Files -office Enterprise 2007

I am running Office 2007 Enterprise and suddenly I cannot open any of my
Saved Word doccuments but they open in Microsoft Front Page. I have done a
repair with my setup disc but still the problem. It started after Scanning a
Doccument from my Printer into Word and the Doccument had errors which I
corrected and "saved as" Word 2007. None of my previous Word Docs will now
open only in Front Page.
