After furious head scratching, Pat Willener asked:
| Thanks for the feedback.

| B.t.w. there is a very useful little program that can help you to get
| rid of many unnecessary temporary files on your computer: CCleaner at

|| Found article about deleting temporary file folders.....i was doing
|| that but went into wrong place:
||
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2007/20070604.htm
|| When you open attachments on email directly from Outlook, a copy is
|| written to a temporary folder on your hard drive. This is so that
|| the virus scanner can check it before it is opened. The folder
|| Outlook uses is under the temp internet folders. This offers more
|| security as only your user account and the computer administrator
|| account can view the files under this folder. The only way to avoid
|| "losing" attachments in this well hidden folder is to save them to
|| your hard drive, before opening. Few people do this (myself
|| included).
||
|| C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
|| Files\, so you'll need to look there for the OLK or Content.Outlook
|| folder.
|| When this folder gets "full" you may have problems opening email
|| attachments or embedded images won't display. If you open image
|| attachments in Windows Photo or Image viewer and click next, you may
|| see old images you thought you deleted. Delete the files in the
|| folder to fix.
||
|| also found following link helpful that i found from reading other
|| issue:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/securetemp.htm
||
|| Pat:
|| trust me, if i knew who changed my settings, i would've contact them
|| or switched back and i don't like to do system restores unless
|| absolutely necessary. That's why i did further research and found
|| article above which seems to have explained why this started to
|| happen suddenly and now ssems to fix problem.
||
|| I have emptied my temp internet files and seems like it might have
|| worked because when i received email message that my question had
|| been answered and clicked on link, nothing happened. After i
|| deleted files, closed outlook and reopened, i clicked on that same
|| email and the link to read response and it works now!
|| Guess that did the trick!! I'll let you know next time i get email
|| from Macy's LOL!

||||
|||| actually says:
|||| If you are unable to view the images or links in this e-mail,

||||
|||| I have done that but see nothing regarding viewing images and used
