Suddenly envelopes won't print

I am using Office X on a Mac G-4 running OSX 10.4.7
When I upgraded to 10.4.7, Mail Merge stopped printing envelopes
correctly on my Brother HL 1270-N.
Instead of recognizing my central feed into the printer, the program
assumes top or bottom feed. This effectively removes the addressee's
address.

Are you using a custom setting for the printer in the Enveloppe
assistant or are you telling Word to use the Printer Setup defaults?? It
could be that the corresponding settings in the Printer setups have been
reset during the update.

I have solved the problem by downloading the printer driver thet goes
with OS 10.4.7. Envelopes are printing perfectly.
