Suddenly not working for 2 users

We have been running Microsoft Office 2000 just fine.
Suddenly,2 users are no longer able to open anything. This
only happens to them on one workstation. The "preparing to
install" window shows up first and then it says "error
applying transforms.Verify that the sepcified transform
paths are valid." We did not recently install Office and I
am able to use that workstation fine. I installed a new
scanner on that computer and I have heard that drivers can
destabilize programs. Any suggestions?

Hi, Janice,

Have you tried repairing the Office installation through the Add/Remove
Programs applet in the Windows Control Panel?
