Using Sue Mosher's excellent book "Microsoft Outlook Programming", I added
the following code to my form:

Sub lblLink_Click()
Set objWeb = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
objWeb.Navigate Item.GetInspector.ModifiedFormPages ("Message"). _
Controls("lblLink").Caption
objWeb.Visible = True
End Sub

This forces a hyperlink to the object named "lblLink" on the form. However,
when the form is sent, the recipient of the e-mail can see the link, but it
does not work. It only works from the compose page after I run the form from
the menu bar.

I am a complete novice at all of this stuff but I love the book!

Thanks

Code runs only on published forms that are not one-offs. This means that the form must be published to the Organizational Forms library or each users's Personal Forms library with the "Send form definition with item" box on the (Properties) page unchecked.
