Any suggestions of a chart I might use for keeping track of daily blood
sugars. I'd like to email it into the doctor or fax it to them. I
appreciate it!
This is so utterly simple you COULD make the table in Notepad and use
copy/paste to transfer the text to your preferred mail client.
If your doctor prefers email submission he/she may prefer reading the
text version of your messages:
Use a fixed width font like Courier.
Use leading zeros for numerical entries so the entries in a column are
all the same width. For example use 0094 instead of 94, 08/03/07 instead
of 8/3/07 or 04:00AM instead of 4:00AM.
Use spaces instead of tabs. Tabs don't always display properly when the
reader is reading the text version.
Something like this (levels and times might not be appropriate):
Date Time Lvl.
08/03/07 06:00AM 0097
11:57AM 0102
06:37PM 0112
08/04/07 06:10AM 0089
12:34PM 0107
07:04PM 0102
Add other columns if you want to include calorie consumption reports
and/or insulin units used.
