Suggestion - Search by date & restrict products in Office Online

The older version of Office Online allowed one to list ALL the
updates/add-ins/whatever by date, name etc. The newer version has started to
annoy me by dint of having to go through each product individually. The loss
of the ability to restrict the list to the products that one is actually
interested in was a painful loss, to my mind.

What chance of this coming back?

If you go to http://office.microsoft.com
and in the search box choose the 'Downloads' category
and for search topic put in either 'download' or 'office',
or '2002 xp' for example as a search term. The current site limits
results to 100, but you can get a different listing
than going through each version of each product from
a separate web page.

Not what I meant.

I regularly drop by the site to see if there are any new add-ins, as I'm not
really keen on getting emails as they tend to be full of stuff that I am not
even vaguely interested in.

So in I go. It's easy to find the updates, using the engine, but when it
comes to add-ins, converters etc, I have to go into every single product page
to see if there's anything new. The option you suggest doesn't have the
opportunity to
a) restrict the search to particular products within the Office family, or
b) sort by date to egt the newest things at the top.

Both of these options were available in the old version of Office Update
because you could tick boxes for the products, and choose the sort option. I
miss that. I used to be able to find out on one page if anything new had been
added for my products. It used to be possible to visit one page, click boxes
for my options, and get the list. Now I have to visit over 20 different
pages, just to find out if there's anything new for my Office package.

You see what I mean? Is that progress? :-(
