Suggestions: Contact Database Improvements

1. One of my oldest wishes a contact manager (Outlook, as it happens to
be now), is the ability to define contact relationships.
For example: Jack is married to Jill. Jack and Jill are the parents of
Steve, Joe and Anne. Joe is a close friend of Richard. Jack, Jill,
Steve, Joe and Anne are a family. They all have a a common address but
Joe and Richard are roommates and have their own address, as well. Anne
Married Jordan and changed took on his last name. They, too have their
own address but Anne hasn't severed ties with her old address. Of
course there are lots of common and unique phone numbers, too.
All these relationships would be easy to define and manage in the
software I envision.

2. Customizable Telephone Number Labels.
Telephone labels as done in Outlook are annoyingly rigid. They way it
*ought* to be done is using a database table with the following basic
columns: Phone Number ID, Phone Number Phone Number Type, Phone Number
Label. Of course, With that in place I'd be able to define labels like
"work cell, tri-band cell, local cell" instead of "Mobile, Other,
Primary". How about "main ring, kids' ring, fax ring"?
See? Flexible! And with a little bit of ergonomic research, easy to
use!

Thank you for your time.
