sum at beginning of report

How do you print a sum of a value in the detail records in
the header of the report? (e.g. a statement with a balance
due on the first page header)?

Create a control that sums the detail of the report at the end of the page
or the report. Then create a control at the header that points to that
control.

If you're summing all of the report details, then the report
header can use a text box with =Sum(thevaluefield).
