Dear excel experts,
I would like to request your help & expertise with the following excel problem I'm facing.
I have below range of maximum values:
B2 : 100
B3 : 1000
B4: 2000
B5: 10000
B6: 30000
In cell B12 I have a value, let's say 1566.
With this value I want to make a sum based on the nearest maximum value, in this example B4: 2000. Sum 2000 - 1566 = 434.
Hence, excel has to find the nearest corresponding maximum in the range for the value in B12 and then make the sum with that value.
How can I do this.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Siegfried
