SUM dillema

I have a roofing report that lists materials and is sorted by roof sections
A,B,C..etc depending on the roof:

RoofDes Category $sqft
A Membrane .44
A Adhesive .77
A Sealant .53
B Membrane .66
B Adhesive .23
B Sealant .99


I would like to have a SUM of the A's and a SUM of the B's etc...However, a
roof can have numerous sections up to Z or more...so i dont know how to go
about summing by section....

Use the "Sorting and Grouping" button. Group by roof section. Put your sum
in the footer.
