SUM Formula

I have several SUM formulas that sum across numerous sheets (Example -
=SUM('Placeholder Sales Alaceholder Sales B'!H8)). The problem is that they
will not recalculate. The Calc is on but the only way I can get them to calc
is to hit f2 while in the SUM cell and then hit Enter. Does anyone know why
they won’t recalc?

Tools > Options > select Automatic > OK

I've been in Excel for many years so I'm checked all the Calculation Options.
It's on Automatic and F9 and Shift-F9 will not cause the SUM to calculate.
Plus, all other formlas are working.
