Hi All,

I'm having difficulty with what I think is a sum product formula, basically I need a summary table pulling together the info from a large schedule, the data has two variables and both need to match and then return the correct answer.

Cell B3 should return the value 800 from cell D407, cell B4 should return 6644 from cell c407 and cell c5 should return 987 from g407.

It would be much appreciated if anyone could help.

Cheers

Hi,
I beleive none of both work in this case.
If you want Excel to find a value in row 9 and return a value from row 407 (in the same column), then HLOOKUP should be the right function for you.

HLOOKUP(lookup_value,table_array,row_index_num,range_lookup)
