Sum in the Group Footer

I have a report with a Group Footer having an unbound field that
calculates the sum of a column. Now the problem that I am facing is
that if the number of records in the detail section increase, so that
it cannot fit one page then the Sum doesn't appear on the first page
rather it goes to the last page where the last record appears. But I
want the Sum to appear on each page in the Group Footer. I know I can
do it in the page footer section, but I want the Sum of each page to
appear in the Group Footer. Please help me solving this problem
because I have spent nearly 2 weeks solving this problem.

Have you tried putt ing the sum filed in the page footer?

Yes, that works well but leaves a huge space in between the Detail
section and the footer if the number of records are less to fit the
page.
