Sum of columns from the same row

Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet with four columns. Sometimes I add numbers in column A,
B and C and I want to get the total of the cells from the same row in column
D. I know I can use the function =SUM(A10:C10), but this function is only
valid for row no 10. I want to find a way to fill 100 rows of column D,
automatically. At present I could go by hand and type to every cell on row
x, =sum(Ax:Cx), but I can't copy and paste the formula, because of the
different rows. It must be a better way of doing it

Regards,
Nicolae

Enter =SUM(A1:C1) in D1

Hover the mouse pointer over the bottom right-hand corner of D1. You will get
a black cross(+ sign) appear. Either click on this and drag down to D100 or
just double-click on it and your formula will fill down as far as you have
data in column C.

The formula will increment itself down column D.
